Steve and Jane Putnam have been teaching dance lessons for over twelve years and are known for their informal, yet professional, style that emphasizes non-competitive social dancing.  No pressure, no showcases, and we don't ask couples to dance with others in rotation.  Give us a call and talk to Jane, she can answer any and all questions that you may have about our programs.

Company History
In The Line Of Dance with Steve and Jane Putnam have been teaching people to dance since 1995.  In the 1990's when Country dancing was all the rage, Steve and Jane were two of the best known country dancers and instructors in the Northeast.  With the decline of country dancing, Steve and Jane set their sights on Ballroom Dancing, which is far more useful in a Social setting such as a wedding, or anniversary party. In the Line of Dance has once again emerged as one of the few companies which has two instructors to demonstrate and assist you as you learn Social Ballroom Dancing.
